Dating back to the 1910’s, Art Deco design had its roots in France before spreading internationally during the 1920’s to 1940’s. Many famous buildings were constructed during this period, such as the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center and several Hollywood landmarks. These buildings are a constant reminder to us of the splendor, glamour, and technological progress of the time.

After going out of fashion during the latter half of the 20^th century, there has been a resurgence of Art Deco style in contemporary design. Many new fashions and home furnishings pay homage to this classic style while adding a new modern twist for the 21^st century.
